How to find the right Christian church for you is something that I will try to address in this article. There are so many different types of churches out there that it can be very difficult to figure out which one is going to be the right church for you. I have been a Christian for approximately five years now and I am starting to feel very comfortable in my faith. Here is what I was able to learn about finding the right River Pointe Church and West End Church in Houston for me.
First, I found that I wanted to become closer to God. I have always felt that my life was a mystery because no one could ever tell me what to do in life. As a child, my parents would ask me if I was having problems at school or if I was having a good day. As an adult, I have had a lot of people ask me this question and it has become a burden on me.
That is why I wanted to get closer to God so that I could find answers to my prayers. When I decided to become a Christian I did not know what church to go to. I really wanted to get in touch with my roots because I had so much trouble with people who were trying to convert me. The more I dug into God’s Word, the more I realized that I wanted to be saved from sin. I really didn’t know what church to go to so I just took God’s words at face value.
So I went to my local church and I asked around to see what people had to say. A bunch of people came and told me that they didn’t know where to find God. They said that they were just searching for a church that they could belong to and that they didn’t want to join any churches that weren’t Christian. They said that they wanted to belong to a church that taught about Jesus. I realized that I needed to find a way to get back to God but I didn’t know how. So I kept searching for answers to the prayer of my heart.
That is when I stumbled upon the One church that really taught about Jesus. It was in the South Chicago Illinois Area. I attended the church for two weeks and learned so much about Jesus from the people who attended. I still continue to learn from those who attend the church and I can honestly say that it has shaped my life and helped me grow as a person.
